Flame Opals has only one retail store and all we sell are solid opals. Flame Opals is different to any other opal store in Sydney.

We do sell only solid opals in order to protect our clients. |

We do understand opals. What started as a hobby is now a long established family business. The Flame Opals collection includes beautiful opals from all the major fields in Australia. |

We do buy mainly from the miners, which gives us a wider selection and better prices. |

We do believe in good design. Flame Opals jewellery is mainly handcrafted in either sterling silver or 18 carat gold. |

We don't stock doublets or triplets, which are often a tourist "rip-off". |

We don't pay secret commission to tour guides and tour operators. We prefer our clients to get the benefit of lower prices. |

We don't pay selling commission to our own staff, so there is no pressure to buy. |

We don't sell boomerangs, toy koalas, sheepskins, or any other gemstones. |
